Embroidery Limited Terms and Conditions
Payment
Information
1)
Payment is due before the dispatch or collection
of any goods unless a credit facility has been
agreed. We accept payment by cheque (payable to
Ace Embroidery), cash or by any of the following
cards; Visa, Mastercard, Switch. Solo. We also
accept payment by BACS
2)
Returned or represented cheques will be subject
to a £20.00 charge per cheque.
3)
To obtain a credit facility with Ace Embroidery,
a credit application form is to be completed fully
and approved by our accounts department. All parts
of the form must be completed. Our terms of payment
are strictly 30 days unless otherwise arranged;
we reserve the right to enforce a 2.5% surcharge
if credit terms are breached. A minimum spend
policy is in place.
4)
All prices are plus VAT at the present rate where
applicable and subject to change without notice.
Embroidery
Jaquard / Artwork Set Up
5)
Jaquard / origination charges are £10.00
per 1000 stitches.
6)
Owing to the complexity of embroidery, it is impossible
to quote the exact number of stitches from first
sight of artwork. Costs are always approximate
and may change slightly on the final bill.
Printing
Charges and Information
7)
Screen charges are £25.00 per colour, per
design. For instance, if the same logo is required
of a different size front and back, two screen
charges apply.
8)
Clear camera ready artwork is required to produce
screens. Poor photocopies, photographs, drawings
etc are not acceptable as artwork. If the design
is to be drawn before screen process a quote will
be given before commencing.
9)
Transfer Printing – This process works by way
of stocking transfers in multiple quantities,
bought in at an individual price. They can be
held at Ace or taken away. Each application onto
any garment will be charged at the current application
rate (normally 75p).
Samples
Policy
10)
Samples will be charged at normal price list rate.
If returned within 14 days undamaged no charges
are applicable. If goods are to be posted away,
credit or debit card details are required as a
form of deposit. Card details will be destroyed
if the goods are returned within 14 days undamaged
(for security reasons)
Free
Issue (Customer Supply) Garments
11)
We will not accept responsibility for faulty goods
supplied by customers, or incorrect information
given when embroidering or printing free issue
goods. Free issue items are personalised at customers
own risk.
12)
Copyright, trademarked or registered logos will
not be embroidered without full consent in writing
from the owner / organisation of the logo in question,
a disclaimer form must be filled in if there are
any doubts.
13)
Our minimum order value for free issue items is
£30.00, all charges are stated in our current
price listings.
Delivery
and Collection
14)
Carriage (next day delivery) will be quoted separately
charged at cost.
15)
Every effort will be made to deliver on time,
but any delivery date specified is a best estimate
and no liability is accepted for any loss arising
from delay or error in delivery of goods.
Quantity
Variation
16)
In some products (they will be stated) allow within
10% plus or minus of the quantity of goods supplied.
Cancellation
17)
If any order is cancelled a charge will be made
for any artwork or logo origination that has been
undertaken including any garment embroidered or
printed.
Other
Information
18)
Copy disks / logos – Allow 3 working days for
any copies to be processed, disks are by collection
only by the owner of the design.
19)
Special thread colours, if a non standard colour
or type is required and is not in our extensive
range the threads will be invoiced as a special.
Threads are kept in stock for use only for that
particular customer.
20)
Non-delivery by courier claims must be notified
to us within 7 days.
21)
Claims arising from shortages or damage are to
be received within 7 days of receipt of item.
Please inspect all goods prior to signing for
delivery or upon collection.
22)
Garments manufactured that are automised to customer
specification cannot be exchanged or altered after
production. Genuine faulty items are replaced.
23)
Orders are required in writing and customers must
ensure details of size, colour, code, quantity,
fabric, style, print and/or embroidery are accurate.
Telephone / verbal orders are made at customers
own risk, any responsibility for errors is not
accepted by the company.
24)
Garment care – Ace take the greatest care to source
the highest quality fabrics and materials for
garments supplied. To maintain garments in best
condition please adhere to the washing instructions,
which come with each garment.
25)
We cannot guarantee goods will be exactly the
same as previously supplied. Samples are available
on request to check size, material etc.
